Wuri
Select roast profile (Drip or Espresso) based on your brew method.
The Gedeb district is home to thousands of coffee farming families producing some of the most incredible coffees in the world. Located south of Yirgacheffe, Gedeb has developed a reputation for stellar quality. “Wuri” is a Gedio word meaning “high altitude” and is named for the farming areas here which are found as high as 2,100 meters above sea level.
Ranger Industry & Trading PLC has been active in Ethiopia since 2009, assisting farmers by focusing on productivity and meticulous processing. They also use earnings to positively impact the communities they source from, investing in local needs such as localized cherry collection sites to reduce producer transportation costs and road construction projects to make travel safer and easier.
Since the relaxation of export regulations by the Ethiopian government in 2017, it has become easier to maintain full traceability when sourcing outstanding coffees, such as this one from the private Wuri washing station.
Look for complex notes of bergamot, peach, and pinot noir in the cup.
